Amy Weems was admitted to the Alabama Bar in 2005 and the Wisconsin Bar in 2011 (inactive).  Amy is originally from Jasper, Alabama and attended the University of Alabama where she graduated summa cum laude with a B.S. in psychology and minor in English.  Amy is a member of Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society.  While at UA, she was a member of the Million Dollar Band.

After completing UA, she earned her J.D. degree from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University.  Ms. Weems spent several years in private practice, primarily in the area of civil defense litigation, before working as a claims attorney for GEICO.  Amy and her husband, Phillip, live in Tuscaloosa with their two children.
